Back in L.A.

After being away for over two years, I am back in Los Angeles and my first impression was, “What a great day!”

It is really hard to go wrong with the weather here in Los Angeles and I did not notice it while living here the first three years. However, after two years in Korea, I really think that L.A.’s got a great weather.

Enough of weather talk, and back to study mode for the first time in two years. Can’t wait! 🙂

Military Service Finished

Finished my military service on the 27 AUG 2013.

I enlisted in the Republic of Korea Army on 28 NOV 2011 and applied to be stationed at the United Nations Command Security Battalion-Joint Security Area.

Thank you to everyone who supported me and helped me out during the 21 months. It seemed like a hectic 21 months, but so far up to this point in my life, I feel like it was the most meaningful time that I spent. We had North Korea abolishing the Kaesong Industrial Complex along with some high tension in the beginning of 2013. Numerous capital level talks and on-going exercises. The entire term wasn’t the best at all times, but the experience was satisfying and I’m grateful to have been part of a ROKA Battalion that is In Front of Them All.

I won’t forget you, UNCSB-JSA.
